Buffalo News Shines a Spotlight on the Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ Technology Institute

The Buffalo News recently stopped by the new Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ Technology Institute (TCTI) to learn about the college’s programs in Cybersecurity and Data Analytics, and the college’s plans to help fill the local workforce need for well-trained tech professionals.

A $1.6 million construction project, the state-of-the-art TCTI opened in August and was funded in part by the New York State Higher Education Capital Matching Grant program. The grant funded $420,000, while Trocaire covered the rest of the project.

In addition to Trocaire’s new programs in Cybersecurity and Data Analytics, the TCTI houses the college’s existing tech-focused academic programs, including Healthcare Informatics, Health Information Technology and Computer Network Administration, and will eventually include Workforce Development- based technology certifications, as well.
