Dr. Catherine Griswold, Ed.D, MSN, RN, CLNC, CNE, dean of Trocaire’s Catherine McAuley School of Nursing, presented a poster at the ‘s inaugural conference, held in Atlanta, Georgia July 12-14. She also got the chance to visit with nursing education expert Dr. Linda Caputi.

The conference theme for 2018 was It provided a scholarly forum in which faculty, nurse administrators and students shared and learned best practices in nursing education and accreditation, engaged in scholarship, networked with peers, and met the ACEN Board of Commissioners and Chief Executive Officer.

Dr. Griswold’s poster was titled “Preparing for the Site Visit: From Empty Drawers to Evidence to Verify the Self-Study Report.” The presentation specified methods for arranging the program’s evidence room, the agenda, and identifying evidence to support ACEN accreditation criteria.
