We all have a role to play as our community and country at large works to address racial inequality and white supremacy,\u00a0 and on Thursday, March 28\u00a0from 2-4 p.m. in Room 30, the <a href=\"https:\/\/trocaire.edu\/diversity-inclusion\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-wplink-edit=\"true\">Cultural Competency Certificate (C3)<\/a> Committee will be hosting a Panel on Racial Justice. Panelists will include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Karen Clinton Jones, Ph.D., Chief Diversity Officer\/ Title IX Coordinator at Buffalo State College<\/li>\n<li>Wookoo Kim, MSW, Ph.D., Associate Professor at the SUNY at Buffalo School of Social Work<\/li>\n<li>Michael Martin, Executive Director of Native American Community Services<\/li>\n<li>Casimiro Rodriguez Sr., President of the Hispanic Heritage Council of WNY Inc.<\/li>\n<li>Thomas Vane, MS, Director of Student Engagement at Ä¢¹½´«Ã½<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/trocaire.edu\/about\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2021\/08\/c3-bios-diversity-panel-3.28.19-1.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Click here for full bios<\/a> on all the panelists.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;With a focus on power, privilege, and oppression, panelists will discuss efforts to build a more just culture on our campus, in our communities, and as a nation,&#8221; explained Director of Student Engagement Thomas Vane. &#8220;An anonymous Q&amp;A session, facilitated by technology, will follow the discussion to continue the dialogue.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>This workshop, as part of the C3 program, will be livestreamed through Zoom.
