Honors students enjoy challenging course work, an engaging community of like-minded peers, and opportunities to enhance leadership and professional skills.<\/p>\n\n  <\/div>\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Benefits:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Additional merit-based scholarship<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Enhanced learning opportunities<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Priority registration for classes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Access to honors lounge (designated study space)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Recognition at commencement and on your official transcript<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Academic Requirements*:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Complete a minimum of 12 credits per semester<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Register for Honors designated courses<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Attend minimum required meetings as well as social and service events<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Complete required hours for peer tutoring program<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><em>*If you fail to meet the academic requirements, you will be put on probation for a semester. During a probation semester, you will continue attending meetings, completing honors classes and participating in events.
