Board of Trustees Scholarship<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Board of Trustees Scholarship is awarded to undergraduate students entering Ä¢¹½´«Ã½. The scholarship is based on a cumulative GPA (high school or college, whichever is most recent) of 3.5 or higher.\u00a0 Beginning in Fall of 2023, new freshman recipients will be awarded $2,000 annually and transfer and readmitted students will be awarded $1,750 annually.\u00a0 The scholarship will be awarded annually for the entirety of the recipient’s selected program so long as the student maintains a GPA of 2.5 or higher and continuous enrollment.\u00a0 The award is prorated for part-time enrollment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Presidential Scholarship<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Presidential Scholarship is awarded to undergraduate students entering Ä¢¹½´«Ã½. The scholarship is based on a cumulative GPA (high school or college, whichever is most recent) between 3.0 and 3.49.\u00a0 Beginning in Fall of 2023, new freshman recipients will be awarded $1,500 annually and transfer and readmitted students will be awarded $1,250 annually.\u00a0 The scholarship will be awarded annually for the entirety of the recipient’s selected program so long as the student maintains a GPA of 2.5 or higher and continuous enrollment.\u00a0 The award is prorated for part-time enrollment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Opportunity Scholarship<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Opportunity Scholarship is awarded to undergraduate students entering Ä¢¹½´«Ã½. The scholarship is based on a cumulative GPA (high school or college, whichever is most recent) between 2.50 and 2.99.\u00a0 Beginning in Fall of 2023, new freshman recipients will be awarded $750 annually and transfer and readmitted students will be awarded $500 annually.\u00a0 The scholarship will be awarded annually for the entirety of the recipient’s selected program so long as the student maintains a GPA of 2.5 or higher and continuous enrollment.\u00a0 The award is prorated for part-time enrollment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Community Foundation for Greater Buffalo <\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Since 1924, the Community Foundation for Greater Buffalo<\/a> has been awarding scholarships to students from Western New York. In 2017, the Community Foundation was one of the region\u2019s largest scholarship providers, awarding scholarships totaling $2.91 million to Western New York students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Beginning January 1, applications are available online. Between January and March, you can submit the form online along with your grades. By April 1, all grades, submissions and financial information must be uploaded to our site. In late June, award recipients be notified.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To take advantage of our scholarships, you must be a resident of one of the eight counties of Western New York, have at least a C (2.0) average GPA and be accepted to a nonprofit accredited school for full-time, undergraduate study.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
